1. Introduction

JPL Technologies, LLC, doing business as Data2Dollars ("we," "us," or "our"), operates data2dollars.ai and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you visit our website or use our consulting services and productized software (including Visual Data Rooms, BestBid, d2d-energy, and the Client Portal where offered).

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Contact and account information: Name, email address, company name, job title, and similar details you submit
• Forms and inquiries: Messages, diagnostic requests, and other submissions you send us
• Billing information: When you purchase a productized offer (for example Visual Data Rooms or Client Portal billing), payment details are collected and processed by Stripe (see §4). We receive limited billing metadata (such as payment status, last four digits where provided by Stripe, and invoice history) — not full card numbers
• Consulting engagement data: Business data shared during consulting engagements, governed by separate NDAs, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Work Authorizations (WAs)

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, referring URLs, approximate location derived from IP, device/browser type, and interaction events
• Device and technical data: Browser type, operating system, screen size, and similar technical attributes
• Cookies and similar technologies: First-party cookies and local storage used by our site and by the analytics providers described in §5

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and support our website, consulting services, and productized software
• To process payments and manage subscriptions or setup fees through Stripe
• To communicate with you about services, updates, scheduling, and support
• To improve our website, products, and user experience (including analytics)
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, users, and systems
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or abuse

4. Payments (Stripe)

For product billing (including Visual Data Rooms, Client Portal, and other paid productized offers), we use Stripe as our payment processor. Card data is handled by Stripe via Stripe Checkout and/or Stripe Elements (or equivalent Stripe payment flows). We do not store full card numbers (PAN) on our servers. Stripe’s handling of payment data is subject to Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy. Naming Stripe does not mean we claim PCI DSS Level 1 certification ourselves; card data is processed in Stripe’s PCI-compliant environment under Stripe’s responsibilities as processor.

5. Analytics and Cookies

We use analytics to understand how our website and products are used so we can improve them. This includes:

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4): first-party measurement that may use cookies and similar identifiers
• PostHog: product and site analytics that may use cookies and/or local storage

These tools help us measure traffic, feature usage, and conversion paths. They are not used to sell personal information. You can limit some cookies through your browser settings; blocking cookies may affect site functionality or analytics completeness.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the business, including:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): hosting and infrastructure
• Stripe: payment processing for product billing
• Email delivery providers: transactional and operational email as used for forms, billing notices, and support
• Google Analytics and PostHog: analytics as described above
• Calendly: when you use our scheduling links
• Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect rights and safety
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Service providers process information on our behalf and are expected to protect it consistent with this policy and applicable agreements.

7. Optional Financial Account Linking

Some Data2Dollars product experiences may, if enabled for a product you use, offer optional connection of financial accounts through a third-party aggregator (for example Plaid). This is not a feature of our public marketing site, Visual Data Rooms, Client Portal, BestBid, or d2d-energy marketing surfaces as currently offered. If a product you use offers account linking:

• You authorize the connection explicitly through the provider’s interface
• Data accessed is limited to what you authorize and what that product needs to provide the feature
• Your use of the aggregator is also subject to that provider’s privacy policy
• You may disconnect or request deletion as described in the product or by contacting us

If you never connect a financial account in a product that offers it, this section does not apply to you.

8. AI and Data Processing

In consulting engagements and productized offers, we may use artificial intelligence to analyze business data and generate insights. Important principles:

• Client data is processed for the purposes outlined in your engagement agreement, SOW/WA, or product terms
• We do not use one client’s data to train models for other clients
• AI-generated outputs are decision-support tools, not autonomous decision-making or investment advice
• You retain ownership of your data and, as agreed in writing, derived work product from your engagement

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data we handle, including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and encryption at rest where applicable
• Access controls and authentication for internal and client systems
• Secure cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Ongoing review of security practices as our products and engagements evolve

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information. This policy does not claim SOC 2 or other certification status; ask us directly if you need our current assurance posture for a vendor review.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Consulting engagement data is retained per the applicable SOW/WA and NDA. Billing and invoice records may be retained longer as required for tax and financial compliance. You may request deletion of your data subject to those obligations.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Request a portable copy of data you provided
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise these rights, email luther@data2dollars.ai. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond within a reasonable period consistent with applicable law.

12. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party sites and tools (for example Calendly, LinkedIn, Stripe Checkout, or product demos on separate domains). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their policies before providing information.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate.
