About

Built for ourselves first.

We sell what we run. The systems we ship to clients are the systems we operate ourselves.

Luther Birdzell

Luther Birdzell is the founder and CEO of Data2Dollars.ai, where he helps middle-market CEOs and software company leaders turn AI from experiment into measurable P&L impact. His work centers on the question most companies still can't answer: what is the AI actually returning, in real dollars, on the income statement?

Before Data2Dollars, Luther was founder and CEO of OAG Analytics, building production machine-learning and data-science systems for enterprise clients, with early roots in energy analytics — hands-on experience with the gap between AI that demos well and AI that ships and creates value. He has written for years on AI ROI, the “AI last-mile problem,” and operationalizing analytics.

He holds a degree from Dartmouth College and is based in Nashville, Tennessee.

Operating principles

How we work — the client-stripped version.

Measure value, not activity

Hours saved and adoption are blue money. We report the cost line that dropped or the revenue that rose.

Oversight never sunsets

An AI worker can't earn latitude with tenure. Review is architectural, not a probation period that ends.

Every employee owns an AI

Each person is responsible for — and measured with — an AI worker. The best operators run several.

Self-learning wired in from day one

Every task triggers a retrospective; a weekly review hunts the macro lessons. The curve bends up.

Screenshots or systems

A prototype answers “can this work?” A system ships, survives production, and moves a number.
